Girls' Night Out recommendations needed

Howdy all,

My wife is helping to organize a single friend's final night of singlehood before she ties the knot. They are looking for a decent, quiet restaurant (i.e. not a big splurge, not a meat market, not loud and bangy, not pearls and paisley, but not McDonald's either). It's for a party of 15, who are coming in from around the planet so we'd prefer a place near an MBTA stop, and ideally if there's a nice place for dessert +/- drinks afterwards, that would be nice too.

I've seen plenty of girls' night out threads before, but most of them seem to have been plans for a more raucous night than is planned. So, any ideas with these constraints?

/J
