This huge clam has a neck that can be three feet long. They dig 'em up in Washington and Canada and ship them off to sell them to eager Asians, who find the shape, er, inspiring.
They are even starting to farm them, the demand is so good. You won't see them at your Safeway, however, this is strictly an export commodity.
