Gee Willikers

If you've got a motorcycle, you've probably been to Williker's on Rt. 20, Shrewsbury. We were heading from Brimfield to Firefly's in Marlboro but saw this spot with the outdoor patio and it seemed like a good idea. A menu of both Mexican and bbq items, we went for the latter. Probably should have continued down to Firefly's since the sauce was way too sweet and ketchupy. I got a pulled pork sandwich w/ sweet potato fries that were actually crisp. Maybe a little too crisp, but I find that most s.p. fries tend to be soggy, so that was okay. Friend got a plate w/ brisket, pork ribs, cole slaw (which I ate, good homemade style) and the s.p. fries. Along with grilled cornbread that looked good but I didn't taste it. The ribs had a good smoky flavor but were a little tough, and all that sauce. Not sure if they normally have just one waitress working on Sundays, but she was overwhelmed. Motorcycles were zooming in and out, Mon. and Tues. is bike nite. If I were in the area, I'd give it another shot, at least for the patio, but certainly not worth a special trip.
