We've had this 6-burner gas cooktop since our home was built 5 years ago. I don't see the model on GE's site now but it is the 'professional-looking' model with the knobs below on the front. It was also available with a grill or griddle in place of the two center burners.
The more I use it the more it annoys me that the adjustment knobs (you know, the ones Emeril pulls off and jokes about?) don't really adjust very well. High is high and low is low, but all six seem to go from high to well-below medium before the flame level visibly adjusts down.
Anyone have this issue on this or other cooktops? Is it worth the $55 minimum charge on my appliance warranty to have someone come out and try to adjust them or is this just one those 'doesn't really work quite as well as a true professional model' things?
