I'm looking to drop a considerable tab ($70 or so) on a top-tier restaurant in SF. My two top candidates are Gary Danko and Fifth Floor. I've heard that Fifth Floor has the more posh decor and friendlier staff, but I've heard an enormous deal of good about Gary Danko, and the prix-fixe menu looks very appealing. This isn't a romantic outing and is mostly about the food.
Also, what's the decor at GD? Could you go business casual (or casual-chic, say)?
