Going to attempt the Galatoire's Friday lunch coming up here in a few weeks (November 8th to be exact). I'm really looking forward to it - and I hope we can get the first seating (party of 3)! I've heard so many different opinions on when to when to go, when to line, etc. I'm actually really anxious about it! :-/
My boss says he "knows a guy - who HAS a guy" (a specific waiter I assume) who can help us secure a place in line. He said having a specific waiter would help. BUT - I'd rather not rely on someone else's connection that may or may NOT come through.
We are fully prepared to camp out in the early hours with Bloody Marys in hand (both hands of course!). So any recent experiences and tips would be great!
