We went out to a Hush event where the food was cooked by Chef Bob Blair of Fuel café, everything from where we ate( a field set up with several long tables put up end to end) the food ( one example Ajo Blanco Soup with Striped Bass, Membrillo, Avocado Ice cream, Tobiko, Chive. Wine pairing was Jean-Babtiste Adam - Riesling Reserve) to the wonderful guitar music played live near the tables made for a wonderful experience.
Now I know this is not the typical dinner at Fuel but if this is the kind of dishes Chef Blair can put out when he has to cart the food out to a staging area then get them all to the outside table, I can’t wait to see what he can do inside the walls of his own restaurant. The evening was just a lot of fun not only with the food being interesting and the wine being good, but it was great meeting the people sitting next to us and also experiencing the meal through them.
