Where to get fried turkey?

mtyf | Nov 5, 2005 02:56 AM

We were invited to a fried turkey thanksgiving dinner, but sadly made an earlier commitment to a dinner which will assuredly include the traditional baked version. My partner has never had fried turkey and is now in a state of chow-regret, which IMO is the worst kind!

Please help me rectify this situation. (Where) Can you find a tasty fried turkey dinner (not a bring-them-a-bird-and-pick-it-up-later type of thing)? I'm in Burbank but am definitely willing to travel a reasonable distance. Bonus points for non-seasonal availability (as in not just at Thanksgiving, in case we have our fill at the regular dinner) and nice sides to go with, but they're not necessary.

Thanks!
