Was at the Giant at Westbard/Ridgefield (Bethesda) today and they have hatch chiles AND the best part... a chile roaster! They were just setting it up when I was there, but they will be there until 6 tonight and the next 3 weekends. Not sure if other Giants are also doing it
When I lived in NM, we'd buy it by the bushel, roast them, take them home and peel them, cut and freeze into little pouches. Green chile goodness all winter!
