I started to make butternut squash cupcakes for my husband's office today and realized about 20 minutes after I'd started that he's off for the next 2 weeks. I couldn't stand to throw away the batter at that point and so continued making them.
My question is whether they can be frozen for 2 weeks. They're already frosted.
I don't want them around to tempt us. I get my baking kicks by making stuff that he takes to work. I can sample, but don't need to worry about a whole cake or whatever calling out "Hey! Just take a slice. That'll be okay...:"
