Thanks to a posting here (Browniebaker's?), some friends and I went out to New Fortune for dim sum on Sunday. We arrived around 11:20 and had no problems getting seated. By the time we left around 12:45, it was quite busy, though I don't think there was a wait for a table.
I should throw out the following caveat before I say anything else--I know nothing about dim sum, just whether or not I like something. Can't speak a word to authenticity. That said, we all loved it. Loads of different carts making the rounds. I usually just choose whatever looks weird and sounds vaguely interesting, and wasn't disappointed (although this means I couldn't tell you a single thing I had, sorry). If I had one complaint, it was that there were some carts that just never seemed to reach us. Sometimes, one has the impression that as a white person, they may not swing by with some of the really weird stuff.
For four of us, the total (including tax and tip) was only $52, so the price was certainly right to me, and I left quite pleased and satisfied. I would wholeheartedly recommend it and would return.
