This past weekend, I was in Clearwater and ate at a couple restaurants where I had good experiences. I was curious whether others would vouch for them as well.
Normally, I eschew nearly any chain, but was taken to Souplantation & Sweet Tomatoes, the salad/soup buffet that's in about a dozen states, but not Indiana where I'm from.
I was impressed with the fresh salads, jicama on the salad bar and even some of the soups. Made me wish there was one closer. Anyone else think highly of this place?
Also ate at Crabby Bill's in Indian Springs. The atmosphere was tacky but delightful. The seafood was cheap and fresh. Overall, it was a fun and tasty experience, though it may be a touristy spot that packs them in for little reason. Missed a chance to chat with Bill, but again, was impressed overall.
