My family is giving itself a one-week food tour of Louisiana's Acadiana this Christmas as our major gift to each other, taking note that experiences are better gifts than "stuff."
So, being from Texas despite our family name, please advise us on ya'll's suggestions for what to eat and where to eat it during our nine-day trip.
Be specific as you dare, and don't hold back or mince words, only the onions! We are true chowhounds and want GOOD FOOD, so do not focus on atmosphere or any other consideration except quality of food.
