Hey, all you seasoned fondue makers--I'm trying to gauge what size pot for a cheese fondue (classic recipe using 1# cheese, 1 C wine, 2 TBS kirsch, etc). Having a hard time deciding what the volume of that is once its all melted. I don't really want to buy a fondue pot for this first outing; has anyone successfully made it in a pan and transferred to a mini slow cooker?
