My husband and I were talking about home remedies for colds. He was just testifying about a "flu-killer" soup (apparently advertised as such) he used to get at a sushi place around Capitol Hill (early-mid 90's I think). He remembers it as being delicious, possibly containing miso and ginger, and bringing him back from the brink of a nasty illness. Does anyone have any memories about what this was, what was in it, and whether it still exists? (He thinks the restaurant may still be in business, but we don't live in the district so who knows....)
