Flossie's v Soul Folks

Based on recent discussions on this board and given that I was going to be in the nabe, went down for some lunch on Saturday. I like the system they have - steam table, one set price ($11) for which you get an entree, 3 sides, a drink (with one refill) and dessert. I got the fried chicken (but of course), the mac'n'cheese that has been raved about here, turnip greens and corn/okra/tomatoes. Sweet potato pie for dessert. My sister got almost the same except she got the catfish entree and green beans instead of turnip greens. Everything tasted good, but I still prefer the flavors at Soul Folks, my main southern food fix. My sister did say the catfish was incredibly fresh. Also with the steam table you get your food instantly, none of that quixotic waiting like at Soul Folks. But purely on taste, SF wins hands down. (And the corn bread at SF is to die for.)
