I have some ideas after my research but would of course like input from chowhounders.
I will be going in a few weeks, and am looking for high-end, fabulously tasty restaurants for two. I don't eat meat, just fish, so need to take that into consideration. I have read a lot about communal tables in Florence and really wouldn't like that.
I'm looking for dinners for 3 nights.
I have so far:
Definite: Ora D'Arica
Maybe: 1. Enoteca Pinchiorri-- I see it has 3 Michelin stars and is very expensive. I'm thinking in the neighborhood of $500 without drinks for 2? For that price, I want my socks knocked off. Has anyone been? Regrets? Praise?
2. Osteria Personale--Read nice reviews on CH
3. Il Palagio --2 Michelin stars
4. L'Osteria di Giovanni
I'd appreciate thoughts on narrowing my maybe list. Any restaurants I have overlooked?
Thanks for any help!
