I tried to order lunch there today - walk directly up to the window, no line, but making note of about 10 people standing around waiting for their orders, I asked politely, "Are you uh kinda backed up?"
Get attitude thrown back - "Depends on what you order."
Huh, ok...How about a salmon wrap?
"About 5-10 minutes"
Ok, great - hand over the credit card...
Sorry, cash only, my credit card isn't working....but with more attitude...
Oook....."I'll go grab some cash across the street" I say, since I have 5-10 minutes to wait....
Get back up to the window....
"The uh...salmon wrap?"
"Oh, right...That's $8.50"
Notice he's now writing the ticket...."You didn't start the order?"
A curt "Nope"
It's just basic good customer service - be polite, don't be a douchebag. Can't handle that? Get out of the business. Do I have a sign on my head that says go ahead and act like you are doing me a favor by serving overpriced chow from a truck? Nada.
So since the tattooed guy who runs the window at the truck wasted my time by showing me how much he values my business, my money and my time, I thought I would take the rest of my lunch time to advice you all to send your business elsewhere.
He can go "fish" himself.
