May move to Boston area in the next few months. Trying to get a feel from others on the local chowhound board about where to find the best Chinese and in general Asian food in or around the city? In DC (where I am now) the Chinatown is small and only has a few (<5) decent restaurants. However, the best Chinese food is in the suburbs of Northern VA and close-in suburban Maryland. In fact, the largest Asian and Chinese specifically populations are now living in VA and MD, and not in the District....thus the shift in quality restaurants.
What is the story with the Boston area?
My job may take me to live in Burlington area.....will I be in reasonable striking distance of good quality chinese and other asian restaurants? (I don't mean almond boneless chicken and chop suey) :-)
