Oops, I'm a goof. I was so ecited to roast a chicken the Zuni style for Easter that I completely forgot that SO had already purchased chicken for Saturday night dinner as well with the plan to make Chicken with 40 cloves of Garlic. We are having guests on both days so I'd hate to overload them with chicken which tastes similar although I haven't had much experience with the 40 cloves dish (maybe once or twice, SO loves it) and so perhaps they are different enough that it'd be OK. For the Zuni chicken, I used thyme, rosemary and sage which I think are often used in the 40 cloves of Garlic recipe as well. Do you have any other favorite herbs or seasonings to use in this dish so it wouldn't seem like deja vu or do you think that they are different enough that it'd be OK seeing as the Zuni doesn't include garlic at all? These are a bunch of chicken lovers so anything with chicken is still fine and not too redundant. TIA.
