I've been on a cracker kick lately. I guess due to all the house guests we've had and all the traveling we've been doing this summer. I've had some new discoveries lately also. Here are some of my faves:
-Nut Thins by Blue Diamond. I like the hazelnut ones and also the pecan crackers. They are so light and crispy. Great with some manchego and salumi.
-Milton's corn bread crackers. These are buttery, salty and with a slight sweetness. I kept eating them and thinking "what do they taste like?" And then I realized - they taste just like club crackers. I want to try the multi-grain ones next.
-Trader Joe's Gorgonzola crackers. I can't eat too many, but they are tasty.
-Black pepper water crackers. My old standby. They go with everything.
-Whole Foods rice crackers. I love to sear a piece of tuna and slice it and put it on these crackers with a splash of soy sauce, a small dollop of wasabi and a sprinkle of toasted sesame seeds. It's such an easy app that's light and easy to throw together.
-Graham crackers. They've been my lifesaver for many years. I eat them with peanut butter to treat low blood sugars. They are a major comfort food for me. :)
-Oh, and I should mention Rice Crisps Sea Salt flavor. While not technically a cracker, I do love them.
