Farmacia in Old City

Gilbert | Dec 2, 2004 07:27 PM

Has anyone been to the new Farmacia restaurant for lunch or dinner? I think it opened in October 2004.
My wife and I went there for brunch last Sunday, and enjoyed a very simple cheeseburger ($8) and BLT with wild boar bacon ($9). The decor/atmosphere is casually vibrant/warm with a simple, down-to-earth elegance.

Although the burger itself was of high quality, it was similar in taste to other places like Bleu, Loie, etc. However, the BLT was very delicious. The Philadelphia Weekly printed a very positive review of Farmacia in its 12/1/04 issue. We'd like to try it for lunch or dinner, but wanted to see what others liked/disliked before making a reservation!
