My husband and I went to Farestart in Seattle for lunch today. I haven't been there in a long time. Service was very friendly and efficient. I had the Founder's Field Roast Sandwich - hazelnut-encrusted lentil sage patty, served crispy with arugula, tomato, vegan fig mayonnaise and dijon mustard on potato bread (vegan). It was really delicious. The fig mayo had a nice sweetness and the patty was great. My husband had the Veggie Reuben -sliced vegetarian sun dried tomato “field roast” served Reuben-style with sauerkraut, swiss
cheese, and thousand island dressing on marble rye bread. That was also really good. We both got the french fries which were crisp and yummy.

I had a really hard time deciding between a couple of items on the menu. The blackened salmon sandwich sounded really delicious as did the vegetable polenta with sunny side up egg. I'm hoping to go back soon so I can try the polenta. Anyone else been recently?
