Just wondering if anyone can share stories of their experiences of eating at Marvelous Edibles (Laird St). My wife and I eat their often (favourite cheaper restaurant). It has the feel of a cottage/country kitchen and prices are very reasonable (mains $10-15). Limited number of tables with different types of chairs adds to the atmoshpere.
They carry some routine favourites and whenever they serve the Jerk Chicken I have to have it. My wife can't pass up the short ribs. It is very difficult to explain the joy this chicken gives me and I have to share it.
Try the daily soup, it's always good stuff (ex butternut squash). They carry the best beer (sleeman, upper canada, etc), offer good wines and have unbelievable desserts. Take dessert hame if you don't have room! Second M.E. on St.Clair.
Any comments would be appreciated.
