English Rose Garden (Taiwanese Restaurant)--Anybody Tried?

Of the thousands of Chinese restaurants I've encountered, English Rose Garden in the Lion Market shopping center at Cedar and Mowry in Newark has to be one of the most unusual. For one, I walked past this place in the inner mall not realizing it was a restaurant. With all of the Victorian tables and chairs visible through the plate glass windows, I had assumed it was a furniture store. Only the easel by the entrance with menu items clued me this was an eating place. Either the owner is obsessed with roses or wants to take this English Rose Garden theme as far as it will go. There are dozens of rose patterned teapots and teacups on display, food seems to be served on rose patterned plates including rose patterned rice bowls. The food menu is rather concise, with deluxe meals in the $20 range, combination meals for $10 and noodle/rice dishes for $8. Most of the menu is devoted to tea and other drinks, mostly all at same price of $4.99. Having already had my dinner, I settled for a vanilla frost smoothie, not too bad but rather pricey at $4.99. The place was relatively full of Chinese diners, which leads me to believe the food might be pretty good. If anybody has been here I'd be interested in their comments on the food.
