We had two wonderful breakfasts here at the hotel restaurant. The first day we ordered room service since we woke up to high winds and lots of rain. I had the Vanilla-Dipped Brioche French Toast filled with mascarpone cheese and pure Vermont mayple syrup and a side of their very good sausage. Food was above average and their fresh-squeezed OJ as very good without being too pulpy.
The next morning our breakfast was complimentary. We went to the restaurant. The sun was shining and we waned to fuel up before renting bikes to explore the waterfront and wharf.
I had the Maple-House smoked Salmon and sweet red onion scramble with potato chive cake and drizzeled with creme fraiche. A beautifully presented dish and very, very good. Quite a large portion, tho. The whole wheat toast was very good and more fresh-squeezed OJ and cappucinos. Eladio's has very good breakfast items and the views of Stearns' Wharf from the dining room are very pretty. ***kim***
