Went there for lunch today. Nice decor, still working out the kinks though...
First off, it doesn't have a liquor license, but it's not byob. (?) They have a "special arrangement" with the bar next door thru a connecting door. (I had to order my drink at the bar and bring it over. Very strange.)
Lunches ordered were chimi changa with fried plantains, steak fajita with chipotle coleslaw, and chicken burrito with mexican rice. Every one agreed the dishes were flavorful, spiced well, and cooked wonderfully. HOWEVER... my fajita didn't have a tortilla, the burrito didn't have beans, and we wondered why plantains would look so much like onion rings.. until we found out they were, in fact, rings o onion. Not sure if it was the chef or our server. We were all in a good mood though, so it was amusing more than anything.
Costs $7-$8 per lunch entree. I'd try it again in a couple of months...
