This weekend (6/4-7) will be my and my hubby's 1st trip to OC. We'll be staying at 81st and the ocean. I researched a bit already on these boards (Fenwicks Crab House, Dumser's for bfast or lunch, fish tacos on 27th St.) but welcome all suggestions. We're doing a 3 days weekend so will be chowing Sat/Sun/Mon.
Some things to note:
we love pancake and waffle breakfasts, also love high or low brow food as long as it's good, love a good margarita, love seafood and crabcakes and softshell crabs but not SO into regular crabs (sorry!), like to take sandwiches from a good deli to the beach, want to chow at the boardwalk at some point.
Some questions: any regional specialties we should know of or must try? should we make reservations for dinner?
