eating with veg teenager in Wash Square area

A while back I wrote in for recommendations for eating with my 14 year old, lacto-ovo vegetarian daughter in the Washington Square area. I want to thank everyone who wrote back with suggestions, especially Viv and her cheap-eats web site. You were all most helpful. Now that our trip is complete, I wanted to report back that we had two wonderful meals at Red Bamboo and one wonderful lunch at Vegetarian Paradise 2. I wanted to eat at the Indian Bread place or Gobo, but she insisted on going back to Red Bamboo for a second meal. It is truly unbelievable what they do with soy products. Especially all the different kinds of "fish" they serve. You wouldn't know you were eating soy if you hadn't read the menu. The service at both places was quick and friendly. And both were very inexpensive yet filling. We ate some big meals for less than $25 for two! Thank you again. We really enjoyed our time in your great city and look forward to coming back.
