I'd just like to take a quick moment and encourage everyone to get back to normal and CHOW! Your area restaurants have taken a beating this week. Tourism evaporated, corporate travel meetings dissapeared, and corporate dining sank along with the Dow. Baltimore is not in as serious trouble as D.C. (in which you'll see some belly-up in the coming weeks), but Baltimore is hurting too. A lot of your favorite places are locally owned, and operating on slim margins; franchised newcomers are also reeling, wondering if opening right now was such a good idea. So get out there and break bread at your favorite place tonight, and let our restauranteurs know you appreciate a good meal.
