A better dog at Better Burger (midtown)

Was happy to find Better Burger in the midtown lunch wasteland (3rd & 37th). Had the nitrate-/hormone-/antibiotic-free beef hot dog and it was definitely worth paying a couple of bucks more for it ($2.95), tho it was a little small. Didn't quite have the snap of a typical dog, but it was really good and I felt almost virtuous after eating it. (Especially after reading a copy of the article on antibiotics from Tufts University they have strategically placed by the door).

The sauerkraut and relish - which I almost never eat - had a nice bit of crunch and you could actually tell that they had been vegetables in their previous lives. Ditto the ketchup.

Looking forward to trying the burger. Pretty impressed that they can only charge $4.95 for what sounds like much better quality beef.
