Had a very mediocre meal at Vintage last night. I ordered a glass of Prosecco and it was clear that the bottle had been open for far too long- very few bubbles and very little kick. I had a duck leg confit over goat cheese risotto for my main. The flavors all meshed together in an over-salted glop--- there was very little distinguishing sense except for salt. The bread seemed cold and industrial. My companion had an onion soup with non-melted cheese, but two others really enjoyed their salads (duck salad and some sort of bulgur salad special).
