Dinner TONIGHT! (large crowd, good food, pref midtown eastside?)

looking for an restaurant for my father's retirement celebration in the last min. need a joint that can seat 7 tonight have great food and not be crazy expensive (<55 per person). looking for a place near their hotel with is in midtown on the eastside.

good choice in Artisanal, but that's about 20 blocks away.

Brasserie, though not the greatest restaurant in the world, is quite good, has a great space, can probably accomodate you and is in the neighborhood.

they definitely have seating for 7 at 6:30 and 9:00 tonight according to OpenTable...but if you call them, I'm sure they will accomodate you for a time best suited for you.
