Dinner w/ tired kids near St. Sulpice, Old Montreal

We'll be arriving in Montreal late afternoon after a long-ish drive, staying at the St. Sulpice, and need a few tips on local restaurants we could amble over to with some very tired kids, who are well behaved, but not the most adventuresome eaters. We'll happily go further afield later in the week (I've received some recommendations I need to map out), and I will likely post other questions later, but for now I just want to avoid ending up at an overpriced tourist trap just because we're exhausted and hungry (been there, done that one too many times this week already).

So fresh, tasty, well-prepared, not too fancy -- just something we'll be pleased to have eaten on our first night in Montreal. I realize that's not terribly specific, but this first night it's going to be more about location than any particular cuisine. The adults will eat anything; kids better off with simpler fare: breaded chicken/fish, pizza, pasta, simple grilled meats/sausages.

Thanks in advance.
