Last Friday night it wasy Husbands Birthday and so I asked him where he would like to go for Dinner. He brought upseveral places but then decided he didn't want to spend a ton so picked one of our old fav's that we sometimes tend to forget about. We went to Vincent's in Plano. I have been going to this place since I was a child. I use to go over to the one on Bachman Lake and then later they had one on Midway. Now Plano is the only one left and it is still run by the same Greek family. It has been in business for 115 year. There is a reason for that. The food is just wonderful. I don't think the menu has changed in 30 years. We started with the oyster Beinville which is th best I'v ever had, then for dinner I had the Snapper al Vincent pan seared to perfection with ton's of lump crab piled on top. My daughter had the crab au gartin. It was so delish and then My husband ordered the prime rib. Again fantastic cooked beautiful. We we're so happy when we left and with 2 glasses of wine our bill was still under $100.00 . If you love seafood and Steaks I highly recommend Trying Vincents it's very quite relaxed place but the food is still fantastic. I have probably been there 50 times in the last 30 years and it's always fantastic. Sometimes we get caught up in whats new hot and trendy, but this place is a classic.
