So my boss wants to do dinner with me, pref. in the East Village (near me) or West Village (near him).
He's a big "meat" guy (loves steakhouses, Brazilian) and can go cheap (Indian, gyros) or expensive.
So, I guess I'm looking for something that a meat-eater would love, slightly upscale doesn't need three weeks for a reservation, is somewhere in the Village, and can provide a comfortable environment for a (very casual) business dinner ... that I wouldn't mind ending early.
Suggestions? Has anyone tried Carne Vale on Ave. B?
