So past birthday dinners for myself have been at Renu Nakorn, Fu-Shing and Vietnam House. In deference to convenience, I think I'm going to go for someplace in Chinatown or Thaitown this year.
It's not going to be a small group, so that's one important thing.
The other important thing is hot funk. I love very spicy and very funky strong flavors.
I've never eaten at any restaurants in Thaitown, but am positive there are some fantastic places that can compete with Renu Nakorn (but can they compete in terms of reasonable prices...hmmm?)
Thank you very much for helping me with all of your thoughts/ recommendations.
(The dinner will be on Saturday evening in case the day would influence your rec.)
