DiFaras Fiasco

I have been going to Difaras for almost 8yrs, since my children started going to the Brooklyn Aquarium (its on the drive). I went last night to take a friend. It was a zoo. I arrived at 8:30PM, it was filled with almost 20 people, all standing around, and a few very rude and angry. I left after a half hour, realizing I wasnt going to get any pizza and that I was just going to add to the confusion. I hope this isn't the new Difaras, and although I am very happy for Doms success (really, it could not happen to a nicer man)I wonder if he is happier now. I applaud that his demeanor does not change with the nasty attitude of the crowd. Still, It seems he is exhausted. The place has been spruced up, but hasnt lost its lived in dingy feel. Is this the new Difaras? Are week nights now also jammed as saturdays with hipsters from everywhere?
