My wife and I went Friday night and really enjoyed our experience.
Appetizer--Started with the cheese plate (for ten extra dollars) Very good. I of course can't remember the names of the cheeses, but the one hard cheese on the plate was my favorite--had a sharp little bite.
We both had roasted tomato soup--needed a little salt, but very good. Also, the pate/butter plate which accompanied the bread was great.
Entree--I had duck, she had rissotto, both were delicious. Someone else commented that the beans served with the duck tasted like Heins baked beans. They're not far off, however, I love Heins baked beans!! And they they were great with the duck.
Wine: Got the 21.12 cabarnet--good enough for 21 bucks.
Dessert: I had ice ream with apple, she had bread pudding--she loved bread pudding (i simply don't get bread pudding) and the ice cream/apples were great too.
Service: Very pleasant.
Total BIll: Two Apps, Cheese Plate, Two Entrees, Two Desserts, Bottle of Red = $95 with tip!
