Can someone tell me when Dom got pizza religion and start making the pies he is now famous for?
I ask because I grew up in the neighborhood when Di Fara was just a good but nothing special pizza joint (60s to mid-70s).
I'm going this afternoon after a short work day--for the first time since I left the neighborhood in 1978. I'm planning to write about it and I want to get my facts straight. Any other historical details/tidbits/trivia would be appreciated too. Thanks.
