Desi Chinese King

Ate at 'Desi Chinese King' tonight for the first time. It's a newish restaurant (6 months or so) in Jackson Heights, 72-23 73th Ave, in the same group of stores as Rahjbog Sweets...

The menu is sort of confusing, split into 'Chinese Delicacies' and 'Desi Delicasies'... but, having visited Indian Oasis and Tangra Masala
more than a few times each, I ordered 'Veg Ball Manchurian' as my main course. I probably should have asked for it 'spicy', I suppose, but they had chiles/chile sauce at the table, so I just added on. Anyway, the 'Veg Balls' were tasty, although I don't know what vegetables they are made of. I also ordered 'Crispy Chili potato' as an appetizer, which turned out to be flavorful, spicy french fries... Dinner was about $12--but it looks like they have some sort of lunch special, too, for $7...

Anybody else been there?
