Delicious AND convenient Brunch?

rds246 | Aug 26, 2009 05:24 PM

My mother, a close family friend, and I try to get together at least once a month for some good food and to see each other. We've been doing Thursday dinners for a while, but I have a new job that makes weeknights close to impossible. So we've decided to do brunch. This, however, has made it difficult to find a convenient spot.

I live in West Hollywood, our friend is near Pasadena, and my mom is in the west Valley and works in pasadena, so she prefers not to drive all the way out there on the weekends. What is a good, delicious, perhaps new and exciting brunch place that would be somewhere in the middle of the three of us? Oh, in addition, I am a vegetarian, my mom is mostly veg, and our friend does not really eat red meat (although I would think this wouldn't really rule out any brunch places). Our first thought was Hugo's, because we all love it, but we've been many times and we always try to go to a new place. Any suggestions would be much appreciated!
