Greetings from a Pennsylvaniia Chowhound. I don't usually run into tsituations on short notice but need help from you Florida 'hounds.
Thursday night is my mother-in-law's 90th birthday. Four of us will be dining. She lives in Deerfield Beach near I-95 but Boca or anywhere with 20 minutes or so is fine.
The problem is that my brother-in-law is very affected by smoke so that limits options. We'd like a place that is not too adventurous but NOT a chain, moderately priced, for this special occasion, but one where my B-I-L would feel comfortable.
We're having the bigger dinner at Pal's which seems to work out okay each year. But that's on the weekend.
I sort of need an answer tomorrow if possible.
Can anyone help?
Mom mentioned a place called "Fish And Claw". Any comments on it?
Also, we will be dining out on a few other nights in the area with "mom" but totally smoke free not a problem then. Any places that I'll be pretty sure will work out? We won't be drinking.
Thanks for your help!
Steve in Philly.
