Just wandered in after seeing the line at Wasa & snagged a bar booth. We were informed by the waitress that everything on the bar menu was 1/2 off all night, except for a few starred items. Beringer Founder's was the "special" Chard @ $5 a glass, so I tried to be brave. It was awful, but waitress cheerfully brought out a glass of Ferrari Carrano Fume Blanc. I ended up having 2 of these :), good bread & butter, the warm goat cheese, wild mushrooms & arugula salad, which I love, the crab cake, which is huge, tons of crab & a nice remoulade, daughter had seared ahi - 3 large slices over soba & veggies in a great sauce & the truffled mac & cheese (she hates mushrooms & we're going to Umbria in June, but seemed pretty happy with the truffles, so why say anything?! ;-)
This all came to $47/$55 with tip!!! Such a deal for 4 generous plates of really good food & 2 lovely glasses of wine!
