Help! DaVinci Olive Oil in Suburbs?

spygrrl | Dec 2, 2003 02:52 PM

I need your help. I am fixated on getting DaVinci olive oil for cooking...after trying a multitude of brands and not liking the flavor, I found this was the # 1 rated on Americas Test Kitchens for supermarket olive oil.

(Sorry, I just cannot afford the pricier artisanal ones!)

I live in Park Ridge and am willing to trek to get it. It is not at Jewel, Osco, or the two small Italian groceries (one in Niles, one in NW Chicago) that I have tried.

If anyone buys this stuff, PLEASE post as to where! I am attempting to avoid a trip to the city, but if I have to I will. Between my love of bruschetta and my cooking needs I use olive oil practically by the gallon and I really need this...especially as it's supposed to be on the mild side and my boyfriend hates the stronger stuff.

Thank you so much in advance!

M
