Need a date place that's not a date place. In D.C.

Former SF Chowhounder here. I recently moved to DC and looking for a good place to take a date to this Saturday. Parameters:

-- Cuisine: Authentic and/or unique. Good beer selection important. A place like Churchkey that is not Churchkey and maybe skews a little
-- Neighborhood: Ideally, Columbia Heights, H Street, maybe 8th Street corridor. But I have a car and am open to anywhere.
-- Atmosphere: Fun, trendy, not stuffy, not too young (Adams Morgan makes me break out in hives). Divey yet upscale is the dream.
-- Price: Not a concern.
