I know in the Artisan Bread in 5 Minutes a Day books nearly every recipes says "This recipe can be halved or doubled easily," but I've got a recipe that will make 3 loaves of whole wheat bread that I'm a little nervous about trying (getting it from a YouTube video). I'd rather just make one loaf and see how it goes. Think I can just divide the recipe into thirds?
Here are the ingredients (from Bob at Bosch Kitchen Center):
3 cups hot tap water
1/3 cup oil (half coconut oil, optional)
1/3 cup honey
1 T salt
1 T Vital Gluten
1 T Dough Enhancer (I'll be using soy lecithin granules)
1 T SAF instant yeast
6 3/4 cups freshly milled whole wheat flour (I'll be using white whole wheat)
Thanks for your help!
