I used to get the most amazing curry noodle soup with dumplings at a restaurant called "Mee Noodle House" in New York. The soup was I suppose Thai yellow curry base, definitely some coconut milk, and you could get it with mei fun or chow fun or ramen, then it also had dumplings in it. It was amazing. I still get it when I go back.
Any place in Chicago serve something like this? Luc Thang near me serves curry soup with some other stuff in it, but the fresh chow fun was a defining element. As the weather gets colder, I dream about it!
