There's a manager who runs Craftbar who is not only incredibly dapper and good-looking, he clearly knows how to run a restaurant. Totally professional, kind, and somehow manages to both recognize the regulars and befriend newcomers. I've watched him in action a few times now, and it's really refreshing to notice someone do things right. I'll be back over and over because I trust in that sort of thing.
And the food continues to remain fresh, green-market based, and delicious. I do wish the portions were slightly bigger, though (yet I'm always full, so I don't know why I have to complain).
Oh yeah -- they used to have not so much of a "bar" type scene (given that it's in the name I thought that was strange) BUT, this summer they came out with a new drink menu that's been INCREDIBLE -- again, clearly green-market based too! Blackberry lime rickey, 'pink' lemonade (cherry/strawberry), basil/lime mojito and more that I can't remember....
