I'm always skeptical about prepared or frozen foods, yet a glimmer of hope exists so that I continually try new items.
I've found a big winner! Tortilla Land Beef Tamales! They have great flavor, no gristle or undesireable bits of beef, no mysterious additives, and a proper ratio of beef to tamale. 10 frozen, individually wrapped, 5 ounce tamales cost around $11.
Just microwave or steam each tamale
I've noticed Costco also carries bigger tamales in their refrigerator section. Has anyone had experience with these?
